Backend Developer

What is the position about

In this position, you’ll be able to integrate a team that is building the next-gen product to deliver analytical solutions to clients across several types of industries/sectors. You’ll be an important part and actively contribute to architecting and implementing scalable, reliable, secure, and efficient systems. What will you be doing in your day-to-day?

• Design and implement backend systems and APIs to support frontend applications and project/product requirements,
• Collaborate with project/product teams and clients to understand and help define project goals and requirements,
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using (mainly) Python,
• Write and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture,
• Prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet sprint deadlines and deliver high-quality software solutions within an agile methodology.

• Python 3, FastAPI, Celery, Pandas
• PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ
• Hybrid Cloud: On-Premises & AWS
• Kubernetes and Docker

Who are you?

• Graduated in computer science, informatics, and related fields,
• Have at least two years of experience in similar positions (preferably),
• Experienced in the development of microservices-based backend,
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes and SQL,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Portuguese and English,
• A team player who thrives in collaborative projects,
• Curious and with a growth mindset who loves to new challenges and to learn new skills, techniques, and methodologies,
• Knowledge of DevOps skills is a nice-to-have.
