Data Scientist

What is the position about?

In this role, you'll join a dynamic team focused on transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions empowered by AI and advanced analytics. You will work on diverse projects, applying advanced analytical techniques and collaborating closely with LTPeers and clients across industries and geographies. Your strong scientific background training will be key to developing cutting-edge solutions and driving innovation.

What will you be doing in your day-to-day?

• Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve real-world business problems.
• Develop, test, and validate models to support data-driven decision-making.
• Work with large datasets, using tools such as Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and bring innovative techniques to projects.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting findings and gathering feedback.
• Support project management, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and client expectations.

Who are you?

• PhD in quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics).
• Strong programming skills in Python, and experience with SQL is a plus.
• Proficiency in machine learning techniques, statistical analysis, and model development.
• Ability to translate complex problems into structured solutions and communicate results effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a research-driven mindset.
• Proactive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for solving challenging problems.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
